Once upon a time, a woman by the name of Elisabeth Visoanska dreamt of creating visionary natural skincare dedicated to the most demanding of her peers. A project unheard of at the time. This year, Visoanska was honored to be a gold sponsor of the annual World Boutique Hotel Awards Gala Ceremony. The event devoted to determining the most exceptional boutique hotels in the world was beautiful, elegant and truly one of a kind. 

For many years, luxury travellers have preferred to stay at reputable chain hotels which have lived up to upper class mass expectations. The decision is understandable as certain standards would be guaranteed: the standard of food, number of square feet in a suite or swimming pool, even the interior design. All would be repeated exactly, no matter where the location. Whilst this had its advantages, it left little room for imagination or flair.

Director and Founder Edward Gabbai believes that the advent of the Internet has provided transparency in standards. This, together with the increasing discernment that luxury travellers have developed, has led many to seek hotels that offer integrity, individuality and character to their guests in addition to the standards of luxury they desire. On the 13^th of July, 2017, beautiful Ukrainian ladies proved that almost anything is possible. The 6^th annual “Golf on Heels” event took place in the Kiev Golf center, where it originated 6 years ago.

The idea of gathering well-established Ukrainian socialites with a passion for fashion and after hopefully golf as a desired consequence was suggested by a female marketer working at the center. The woman was as distant to playing golf as Visoanska products are to Botox injections. This did not however prevent her from putting on a pair of her highestheels and proving her boss that playing in heels was possible and quite entertaining to watch. The decision to organize the first “Golf on Heels”was taken the following day.

When Miss Dariia Day turned seventeen, the British magazine 'Insideout' became very interested in the girl’s ability to turn anyone she touched into their better, more beautiful selves with the help of a few makeup brushes and basic shades. Dariia became the main character of the article, and the photo from one of her projects was used as the cover picture of the magazine. 

For the next two years, she worked on several makeup and fashion projects which helped her gain irreplaceable experience.

After graduating high school, Dariia moved to the USA where she continue her education at MKC Beauty Academy in Hollywood.

The program, combined with working in LA, prepared Dariia for even the most demanding projects, complimenting her passion with experience. Since the beginning of 2010, she is based in Paris, and continues traveling around the world for both work and inspiration.

Fashion editorials, campaigns, catalogues, look books, fashion shows, celebrities portraits, videos, advertisements, high fashion and beauty shoots all fall under Miss Dariia Day’s fields of competences.

We were fortunate to have spent a day with this young talent and were blown away by her seemingly simplistic, yet profound and very accurate understanding of beauty. Suite au succès des deux premières éditions du Concours International NanoArt 10^-9 en hommage au Professeur Tadeusz Malinski, en 2012 et 2015, la Galerie Roi Doré a organisé la 3^eédition de l’événement, placée sous le haut patronage de l'Ambassade de Pologne à Paris, de lUniversité de l’Ohio, de l’Université Adam Mickiewicz à Poznan, de l’Université de Technologie de Poznan, de la chaîne TVP Polonia, des Editions yot-art, de la plateforme Art-maniac, de la marque de Haute cosmétique Visoanska, ainsi que du Polish Institute of World Art Studies à Varsovie.

Le Professeur Tadeusz Malinski est un grand scientifique polonais et pionnier mondial dans le domaine de la nanomédecine, nominé deux fois au prix Nobel de chimie et de médecine-physiologie. Ses découvertes restent pourtant mal connues du grand public, ce à quoi le Concours NanoArt 10^-9 cherche à remédier, tout en apportant de nouvelles sources d’inspiration aux artistes. Ainsi, le Concours NanoArt 10^-9 s'inscrit dans une longue tradition mêlant art et science, tout en lui procurant une nouvelle dimension grâce aux technologies de pointe.

Cross-country skiing is one of her favorites because it is the perfect combination between an arduous, yet healthy workout and empowering adrenaline rush which teaches her body to reach its fullest physical abilities and resist external aggressions.

The winners of the World Boutique Hotel Awards 2016 were announced last week at the glittering Awards ceremony held at the Merchant Taylors’ Hall, London.

The ceremony brought together an array of boutique hotel owners, travel and lifestyle press and travel industry influencers from all four corners of the world, including representatives from CNN Travel, Elite Traveler, The Telegraph, Spear’s Magazine, Boat International, Time Out, The Financial Times and hoteliers around the world.
